2009 4th of July - Hinsdale Parade
Information for Topline Members:
It is that time of year again when we as a club can show off our beautiful and intelligent breed in the Hinsdale 4th of July parade.
If you have ANY concerns about your dog not handling the huge crowds, possible gunfire from the militia units, fire & police sirens and/or marching band noises, please come and walk with us - but leave your dog at home this time.
We are showcasing our breed and any single negative incident will affect all of us.
This event is planned for Saturday, July 4th!
It has been very warm in the past years that we have participated in this event, it was enjoyable for both members and dogs and also to the many people viewing the parade. They are calling for 80 degree weather on Saturday, so please remember to bring water for your dogs to drink and do not forget poopie bags as we know what we may need those for!
So put on your Topline t-shirts and join us once again this year for this fun event.
We will assemble/stage no later than 9:30 AM Saturday on 8th Street west of Garfield St.
Parade starts at 10:00 AM - We are entry #327.
Please remember Garfield, and possibly other streets, will close to car traffic at 9:00 AM.
Local street parking is limited so plan your timing to include a possible long walk to the assembly point.
We hope to see all of you there. And, please remember to be safe with your dogs, they are ambassadors for the breed.
